3 cups of raw cashews (soaked a minimum of 2 hours, drained)
2-3 cups of water (you may need more or less)
1 probiotic capsule (you will be using the powder only) ¼ cup of agave nectar, maple syrup, or honey

1-2 tsp vanilla (optional)
¼ cup of agave nectar, maple syrup, or honey (added after mixture has fermented)


  1. When making raw foods, make sure your all of your instruments are cleaned and sterilized completely
  2. Place cashews and 2 cups of water in your Vitamix
  3. Add the powder only of the capsule
  4. Blend until smooth. At this point you may feel free to add more water to obtain your desired consistency
  5. Blend in your Vitamix until there is no more grit with the nuts. Typically a high powered blender is good for this.
  6. Using a cleansed glass mason jar, transfer the yogurt to the glass
  7. Cover with a mesh cloth or paper towel. Secure it with a clean rubber band
  8. Place in inside of bowl and put a dark spot in your kitchen. I use my cabinets over the stove
  9. Leave it alone for 8 – 24 hours
  10. Taste it at 8 hours to see if it’s the taste that you like. If not, leave it alone and taste every 4 hours
  11. Once it’s the taste that you like add your agave, maple syrup or honey
  12. Cover and place in the refrigerator. Yogurt will thicken as it gets cold
  13. Store covered in a container for 1-2 weeks in the frig
  14. Enjoy.
