2 cups of chopped kale (no stems)
1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
1 scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder
1 peeled kiwi fruit
1 cup of melon (honeydew, cantaloupe)
1 tbsp dried coconut flakes
In your Vitamix, blend the coconut milk, kale and coconut flakes first. Then add the other ingredient and blend until the coconut and kale is broken down enough for you to drink.
This is taken from ‘Black Women Losing Weight’. My husband loves melons a little more than I do. This is a smoothie that he would consider a best blender smoothie recipe.
